"What's for Dinner"

Recipe for a Happy Family
As a few people know we've been looking for a home to buy. In the process I've gotten to know my realtor pretty well and was pleasantly surprised by a gift she recently gave me, a recipe book made by a group of women in her church. Awesome, I love new recipes!

First Recipe in the Book

Loving Parents                                                1 cup of understanding

Generous Portions of Prayer                       Hugs and Kisses
Love, firmly packed                                       1 cup of Patience
Generous portions of togetherness

Directions:
Mix thoroughly and sprinkle with kindness. Bake in moderate oven of everyday life, using as fuel all grudges and past unpleasantness. Cool. Turn onto a platter of cheerfulness, Serve with hugs and kisses.

Seared Chicken Sandwich

The Seared Chicken Sandwich recipe was a great surprise to the taste buds in our mouth. This takes chicken sandwich to another level. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about how good it was.

INGREDIENTS: Boneless skinless chicken cutlets/half breast, spinach leaves,  honey mustard, mayonnaise, thinly sliced tomato, purple onion, italian bread, olive oil, garlic.

DIRECTIONS:

Wash off boneless skinless chicken and pat dry (for proper browning of the meet), thinly sliced purple onion, wash off spinach leaves, and have some freshly chopped (organic) garlic.
Have a skillet being preheated, then add olive oil. Next, add garlic and onion and sautee. Now, add the chicken and brown it. Once the chicken is done (usually 10 minutes) italian bread, lightly spread mayonnaise onto bread, then dijon honey mustard (we like BRIANNAS Home Style). Place three to four clean/uncooked spinach leaves on bread, then place chicken on bed of spinach, carmelized onion, thinly sliced tomato and SERVE WARM!

Okay, for those of you that like to eat something that tastes GREAT and doesn't take an hour to make this would be the sandwich of choice! Just be prepared to make a second helping FOR EVERYONE!! Hope you enjoy.
